Product Description

This jaunty piece, originally written for guitar, has been arranged for the intermediate string quartet. It is in the original key of A Major and features a prominent viola line in the beginning, as well as double stops in both violin parts and a syncopated rhythm in the cello. Juan Alais (1844 - 1914) was an Argentine musician of British descent. He is known as the pioneer of concert guitar. This is an excellent choice for those looking to work out foundational skills of ensemble playing, and allows you to expand your repertoire with a Latin genre.
