Product Description

The original melody of the renowned Christmas carol is given to the right hand throughout the arrangement, first on its own and later with chords rounding out the accompaniment. The left-hand accompaniment provides most of the interest to the arrangement. For the first "verse," staccato quarter-note octaves are the only rhythmic pattern used, giving it a march-like character. In the second verse, a quiet broken-chord progression centered mostly on the G major chord alternates with the return of the octaves, this time without the staccato for a bold, strong finish.
