Product Description

These four "atonal" works were composed spontaneously at the Music Studio of Fred Scorza in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1989. Though the language is typical of the so-called post-Webern avant-garde led by Boulez and Stockhausen, these four pieces are in a lighter vein full of surprises throughout. The title, a pun on the telephone dialing system known as touch-tones, refers to the spontaneous improvisatory character of the music.
