Christopher Santanelli

A native of South Florida, Christopher Santanelli is in his ninth year teaching music at the middle and high school level, the past eight spent as the Choral Director for South Plantation High School. An SPHS alumni himself, he was actively involved in the choral program during his high school years, and now directs the school’s large chorus classes, after school ensembles, and is the vocal director for the school’s mainstage musical productions. During that time, his choirs have received Superior ratings at district- and state-level Music Performance Assessments and performed at the Walt Disney World resort as part of Epcot's Candlelight Processional. He also serves as the Minister of Music and Arts for Faith United Church of Christ in Tamarac, a position he has held for the past sixteen years. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in Music Performance from Broward College, Bachelor of Music degrees in both Vocal Performance and Music Education from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
