Daniel Nicholson

My name is Daniel Nicholson and I am a piano teacher, pianist and budding composer based in Cardiff, UK. 

I have an extensive musical background spanning back to my early childhood that encompasses Classical and Jazz piano predominantly. I have BMus (hons) and MMus degrees from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) which kickstarted my musical career back in 2013.

Teaching is my passion now and I have a full list of fantastic pupils that I provide lessons to from my home tuition studio. It is from teaching and my lifelong musical study that piano arranging has began to really take off. I offer pupils dedicated piano scores based on their own preference alongside occasionally writing advanced pianoi arrangements for my own performances. Most notably in 2023 I completed a full solo piano arrangement of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto which will get it's premiere performance in Nov 2024.
