Suraj Synthesist

Suraj Dinakar Shetty, also known as Suraj Synthesist, is a Musician, Composer and Music-Educator. Hailing from India, he intertwines diverse cultural influences into a captivating blend of sound. His musical training spans both Hindustani Classical and Western Classical Music, but his performance and projects have been even wider-ranging. Suraj has explored genres from Progressive Psychedelic Rock and Progressive/Melodic Metal to Alt-Rock, World Fusion, and Ambient Jazz. 

Beyond his musical endeavors, Suraj is passionate about education. He enriches both audiences and students with his knowledge and expertise. As a dedicated music educator, he taught keyboard and piano at many Music Institutees and schools in India and even held teacher-trainer/Coach as well as curriculum Manager at Furtados School of Music. Suraj has also taught piano and keyboard to beginners and advanced learners, spanning an age group from 3.5 years to senior citizens. His teaching experience extends from pre-primary to higher secondary music education, covering various curriculums and programs for more than 14 years.

Additionally, he has provided live music for professional theater acts across different languages. His lyrics often revolve around social issues, human rights, and promoting scientific temper and harmony.
