Pam Turner

Pam Turner is a composer/arranger, teacher, and church pianist. She has been teaching piano for over 25 years, and has been a church pianist for over 40 years. She currently serves as pianist at Cohutta First Baptist Church.

Her background involves studying with several teachers at an advanced level, primarily pursuing classical training and hymn improvisation, including two years with Stephen Parker and the acclaimed Elizabeth Buday at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia.   

She writes piano arrangements and original pieces and has sheet music and books available in levels from beginner to early advanced. Her arrangements are great for teaching, and many include teacher duets. The intermediate level and up pieces are congregation tested - she plays them every week at her own church. She also arranges popular and vintage (60s/70s) pieces occasionally just for fun.
