Frank studied music at Birmingham Conservatoire under the tutelage of Andy Culshaw (ex Fine Arts Brass Ensemble), John Holland and Wes Warren (both ex CBSO).
Since graduating from the Conservatoire Frank has played with some of the country’s leading orchestras including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, B.B.C. Philharmonic Orchestra, the English National Ballet Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Swan, Armonico Orchestra, Orchestra da Camera, Bach Camerata, Central England Camerata, Midland Chamber Orchestra, The Sinfonia Stellaris (formerly The Kidderminster Festival Orchestra) and The Limelight Orchestra. Frank worked at the Royal Shakespeare Company on their version of A Christmas Carol. Frank also performs with the Sennet Brass Ensemble, a versatile Brass Ensemble performing in a variety of settings and the Stubbs and Hogg Trumpet and Organ duo.
Frank appears with the Corelli Orchestra on period instruments (playing on their recording of ‘The Fall of Jericho’ by William Hayes) and with Marches Baroque. Frank will be playing Trumpet for the Pantomime productions at The Grand Theatre Wolverhampton over Christmas 23/24 and 24/25.
Frank has been teaching for many years and presently teaches at The Croft Preparatory School in Stratford, King Edward VI School (Aston) and Nunnery Wood School.
