MATTHIAS BUCHER, born 1988 in Donaueschingen (Germany), is one of the most popular arranger for orchestra, wind band oder brass ensembles in Germany. He studied at the Mannheim Music University and had the chance to learn for 3 years personally from Andreas N. Tarkmann as a master student and co-worker. Matthias Bucher is actually working for WDR-Broadcasting-Orchestra, NDR-Broadcasting-Orchestra, Münchner Philharmoniker, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Herford, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Landespolizeiorchester and many many more. His work extends from classical orchestral music to modern early 20th century songs for wind band, as well as full operas and educational music. But his heart ist beating for music for wind band or brass ensemble. Matthias ist playing the trumpet and percussion and his roots are located in the wind and brass music.
