Dr. Michael G. Martin is an accomplished conductor, composer, and arranger. Having written his first major work at the age of 16, Dr. Martin has sold over 100,000 music copies across his numerous compositions and arrangements, receiving national and international critical acclaim. His music has been described as harmonically complex, but attainable across secondary and post-secondary settings. Dr. Martin has been commissioned by the Ohio State Univeristy Men's Glee Club, the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, various district and regional honors choirs across the Midwest, numerous sacred venues, and various festivals. His arrangements have won competitions and awards locally, nationally, and internationallyn.

Dr. Martin has studied with Robert Shaw, Eric Whitacre, Michael Davis, Dr. Donald Neuen, and Marvin Hamlisch. He received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degree in conducting from the Ohio State University. Dr. Martin currently serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Hilliard Darby High School, as well as the Director of Music for  New Albany United Methodist Church and Chorus Director of the New Albany Symphony Orchestra, and previously served as accompanist and assistant conductor of the Ohio State Men's Glee club for 18 years.
