Mark S Burnip

I was born in 1958 in Nottingham, has enjoyed a rich and fulfilling life deeply rooted in music and education. My fascination with music began during his school years at George Spencer, where he first picked up the Tuba, setting the stage for a lifelong passion. This passion led me to further his studies at Clarendon College and ultimately the prestigious Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama.

With a career spanning over 31 years, I have dedicated myself to peripatetic brass and classroom music teaching, inspiring countless students with my knowledge and enthusiasm. After a rewarding career, I retired in 2017, leaving a legacy of musical excellence and mentorship.

In addition to my teaching career, I has been an avid Barbershop singer and arranger since 1980, showcasing his creativity and deep appreciation for vocal harmony. Outside of music, I enjoy reading and walking, finding joy in the great outdoors. A multi-instrumentalist, I   plays both the piano and the Ukulele, enriching my life with the sounds of music in various forms. Embracing retirement, i continue to explore my musical interests while cherishing time spent in nature and with my loved ones.
