Yes it is! This composition is a fast and thriving bebop tune for woodwind quintet, which was already performed and recorded by one ot the best ensembles of it's kind, the "Bläserquintett der Staatskapelle Berlin".

It's a typical "bebop" tune, but due to fact, that classical musisians normally are not used to freely improvise on chords, it's written oot throughout. At a speed of 180 bpm more skilled players are required. The composer recommends to play it strict in time as indicated.

This work suites well as a "da capo" piece for serious classical concert programs, as well as a relaxed excursion and sidestep from the always similar classical music practise.
