Hero Tale is a new heroic concert march. It begins featuring the power of the low brass and continues with heroic melodies of the trumpets and lyricism of the woodwinds.

lIari Hylkilä wrote the first version Hero Tale in 2007 in order to participate Finnish composition contest "Linnan Juhlat" (Castle Festival). Hero Tale won the competition. In 2015 Ilari Hylkilä rewrote Hero Tale for The Conscript Band of the Finnish Defence Forces. He changed totally the beginning and the middle section of the composition.
