The arrangement allows a performance from 1 to 3 trumpets, the third trumpet has been added as well as the timpani. The trumpets are notated in one part with 3 staves.

If performed with only one trumpet the organ plays most of the notes of the 2nd trumpet, which mainly plays in parallel thirds with a trumpet like stop ("trumpet" or "cornet" or both). The driving organ part mainly consists of arpeggios in the right hand above repeated chords in eighths notes. Listen to the youtube version with 1 trp. played in the version transposed to A major.
