Product Description
Ave, Verum Corpus for glockenspiel/bell quartet (choir) can be performed with 4-16 players. It is ideal for a beginning percussion class during second semester, although it would also work with middle school students.
Even though it is arranged for glockenspiels/bells, the instrumentation really is flexible and could be performed with any combination of keyboard percussion instruments, with the possible exception of xylophone.
This arrangement for percussion ensemble teaches students to play independent parts, as opposed to unison parts, and introduces ties on some of the parts.
