Product Description

This arrangement is set for Carillon, however it may also be played on piano, organ, or electronic keyboard or adapted to other instruments. It is comprised of a short introduction, a full statement of the theme, and 4 variations.  It is written as a lullaby as if parents were singing an infant to sleep.  During the final variation, the music fades away as the parents sneak out of the baby's room, trying not to wake the baby.
The hymn tune name is CRADLE SONG. It was written in 1895. The words "Away in a Manger" are associated with Christmas.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
