Product Description
I decided to make a collection of my favorite Christmas memories as
a child and then as a parent. This is the 3rd song in the collection.
It is for duet and piano. In every song, the refrain uses the same
lyrics but has a different melody. There are 4 songs in the collection.
It is about going for a drive one Christmas Eve when we saw a blinking
light in the sky. We convinced ourselves it was Rudolph pulling Santa's
sleigh. What a fun memory. cdboss@cvalley.net for any questions.

Christmas Memories
Song #3 (One Christmas Eve)
Composed by Connie Boss
Verse 1
We went for a drive
One Christmas Eve
To see the pretty sights
But would you believe?
We saw a red light
Blinking on and off
And much to our delight
It was Rudolph
Rudolph pulling Santas sleigh
Way up in the sky
We couldnt see Santa cause
They were flying way too high
Refrain
Christmas memories
Mean so much to me
With my family
Throughout the years
Verse 2
We drove around awhile
Thinking about what happened
We saw the pretty lights
From our station wagon
When we finally made it home
It was getting late
And Santa soon would come
We could hardly wait.
Milk and cookies on a tray
For dear Santa Clause
We caught brother eating one
Then Momma told him STOP!
Refrain:
Bridge:
We were so excited
It was hard to sleep
Daddy said to settle down
So we didnt make a peep
Final Refrain
Christmas memories
Mean so much to me
With my family
Bring happy tears.
