A powerful, yet simple fanfare begins this piece and quickly contrasts with the melody played in a smooth, legato style. The fanfare returns in a different key before the second verse and leads up to a powerful conclusion utilizing small fanfare fragments. First trumpet is written to a Bb above the staff and second trumpet is written to a G above the staff. Perfect for a prelude to a Christmas church service or fun trumpet caroling!
