Product Description

This composition was written for my long-time friend Bob Feinberg who is beginning study of the cello. The solo part stays entirely in first position and is very tonal. Some meter changes, chromaticism in the harmony, and stylistic changes create interest. Peace is at a slow tempo in 6/8 and 2/4 where the eighth note remains constant. Joy is a lively dance mainly in 2/4. It starts in minor then goes to major and contrasts staccato playing with a lyrical line near the end.
