Cecile Chaminade (1857 to 1944) was a French composer and pianist. During her lifetime she composed many works for piano. Orientale Op. 22, was originally composed for solo piano; however, this arrangement for solo clarinet with piano accompaniment is ideal for the advanced intermediate performer.
