Product Description

This haunting spiritual is particularly appropriate for Holy Week, but can be used as a general anthem at any time of year. Written for handbells, hand chimes or tone chimes, it is at a beginner or early intermediate level. Using 18 bells from a standard two octave set, it is not rhythmically difficult, but has fairly detailed expressive demands, particularly in dynamic ranges. This is a straightforward arrangement of the hymn, providing opportunity to use it as a meditative vehicle for prayer and reflection time, as well as in more traditional uses for offertory or special music in a worship service. This is a reproducible product. This piece may be purchased as a score for one performing group, and copies made for the members of that one performing group. Save money and space while allowing for more flexibility in annotating from year to year.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
