Product Description
A sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball. See text below:
Dusty roads to Jericho obscured my open sight
Like an unseen obstacle through darkness in the night.
Bleeding from a heartless thrust from thieves along my path,
I became a victim of one robbers ruthless wrath.
Wounded there, and left for dead, a royal Priest passed by.
Then a Levite left the scene, while crossing side to side.
Soon a lone Samaritan stopped, offering pure gold,
Pouring in a holy oil and wine with love untold.
Cleansed and clothed, sure healing left me truly sanctified.
With more perfect eyes I sensed this sacred sacrifice.
Looking up, I noticed Jesus standing by my side.
With a clearer sight I knew the reason He had died.
Sacramental wine becomes an ordinance of awe.
Purging oil hallows evry liberating law.
Covenantal trials let me see Gods love unfold
As I walk the dusty roads to my old Jericho.
