Wikipedia notes that, musically, "We Don't Talk About Bruno" eschews Disney's traditional formula of a sentimental ballad performed by a solo character, opting for a subdued, mid-tempo tune blending Latin music styles such as salsa and guajira with pop, hip hop, dance and Broadway elements, sung by an ensemble and climaxing in a polyphonic outro.
