Product Description

Inspired by the story of the angels singing to the shepherds on the hillside near Bethlehem, the verses envision the words recorded in Luke 2:14 as being sung first by the angels who shared it with the shepherds, who in turn sang it for Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. The chorus paraphrases the words sung by the angels as recorded in the Bible: "Glory to God in the highest, peace and good will to all the earth."

The upbeat, easy-to-learn tune and moderate vocal range make this piece an ideal selection for young voices. This arrangement is written in the key of B-flat major with the Part I range from the D above middle C to the second D above and Part II from the B-flat below middle C to the B-flat above. Duration 2:30.

The purchase price includes the 5 page combined score plus a 2 page vocals only score and a 2 page piano only score. This piece is also available (a separate purchase) in the key of C major which is better suited when including flutes or violins in the ensemble. To purchase multiple copies for 2-part choral use, this arrangement is available separately at a reduced price.
