(Dance of Reed Flutes)

A shorter version of this popular movement.

Unlike many other arrangements I have not given the all of the 3 solo flute parts to the flute and oboe and clarinet. Rather I have given the tune to the flute, and given some harmony solos to the oboe (a mix of flute 2/3).

The cello accompaniment is given to bassoon and clarinet, and the horn adds some harmony notes to the mix.

This I feel maintains the integrity of the piece, as well as the "lightness"

I think it works.

You can also purchase the score with parts, the score without parts or just the parts for the complete suite, which comprises the following pieces.

Overture Miniature: Complete

March: Abridged

Dance of Sugar Plum Fairy

Trepak(Russian Dance): Complete

Chinese Dance: Abridged

Arabian Dance: Complete

Dance of the Reed Flutes : Abridged

Waltz of the Flowers:: Abridged

You can also buy the individual pieces separately.
