I have arranged the Theme and Variation VI of BRAHMS "Theme and Variations on a Theme by Haydn (St. Anthony Chorale)" for horn quartet.

The theme is well known and needs no further comment.

Variation VI is the one that horn players love to play in the original orchestral composition.

It's the big moment!!

Originally scored for Hn 1/2 in Bb basso, Hn 3 in F and Hn 4 in Eb, I have arranged it for 4 hns in F.

The original parts are mostly there...

Quite short, about 1 min 30...great fun to play.
