Ave Verum Corpus (K.618) by W.A. Mozart, arranged for string quartet by Alison Gillies.
 
Ave Verum Corpus (Hail True Body) is a motet D major, orginally scored for SATB choir, string instruments and organ. Mozart composed it in 1791 in the middle of writing 'The Magic Flute'. Written for Anton Stoll, the motet was composed for the feast of Corpus Christi.
