BlueJay Jazz is the first jazz tune Ive ever written, and it means a lot to me. I came up with the name as a little throwback to my high school jazz band days. We used to play songs with fun bird-themed names like Robins Nest and Cold Duck Time, and I always loved that vibe. So when I started working on my own piece, I thoughtwhy not keep that tradition going? Thats how BlueJay Jazz came to life.
