For Singapore School Bands, I am aware the challenges of School bands in Singapore.

1. Loss of the senior band players. (Sec 4s and P6s)
2. Band members just returned to school from Mid-year School Holidays and only have 4-5 weeks of rehearsal before NDP.

So this slow march can help to overcome the challenges by having the following attributes.

1. Range of the melody, is kept within the octave range with minor exceptions.
2. Range of accompaniment are within one octave.
3. Supporting acccompaniment rhythm are simplified.
3. Side Drum Rhythm is also simplified yet dignified.
4. Note names can be included in the parts upon request.
