Product Description
I was listening to this Latin American composer, J. Siquera , and this melody just grabbed me. It kind of reminded me of Ravel's Bolero, but with its own cool, energetic vibe.
As I listened, I imagined this tune starting super quiet, like it was far away, and then slowly building and building until it just exploded with energy and rhythm. And then, just as suddenly, it fades away again.
That image stuck with me, so I decided to play around with the melody. I harmonized it my own way, threw in some really interesting, almost spicy chords, and gave it this simple, pulsing Latin American beat, like bachata. And that's how my piece for clarinet and piano was born this journey from a whisper to a storm and back.
