Product Description
Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, arranged by Jeremy S. Martin for Concert Band with Vocal Feature!
This arrangement reproduces the style, form, and key (C Major) of the classic Andrews Sisters' performance in the 1941 Abbott & Costello film Buck Privates. The concert band accompaniment is Gr. 4 due to the style. You'll need a drum set player, and although it'll be best with a string bass player, there are optional low wind parts to cover the bass line if you don't have a string bass player. Piano and guitar parts are included and highly recommended, but optional.
Want to program the song but don't have a vocalist? Check out Jeremy Martin's alternate arrangement of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy that features your trumpet section (or a soloist or duet) with your concert band! That edition is Gr. 3 (soloist parts are Gr. 3.5).
PRINTING NOTEThe PDF contains the score and all instrumental parts, and you may print as many copies of the instrumental parts as necessary for your ensemble to perform the work.
The parts are formatted for standard 8.5x11 (letter) paper. The score is formatted for 9x12-sized paper; to print the score on letter-sized paper, reduce to 88%. To print the score on tabloid paper (11"x17"), print at 129%.
