Sources and Annotations:
In 2019, the School of the Baroque Academy of Rome decided to publish a collection of Antonio Vivaldi's concertos and symphonies for chamber orchestra, reconstructed over the years by Santino Cara. From an initial search on how many and which concertos were available for the collections to be published, we found 68 works between concertos and symphonies, and it was therefore decided to choose 24 pieces to be included in 4 books. In 2020, Santino Cara himself was commissioned by the Academy to organize these works and make them printable both in the integral part and in the individual instrumentations. Unfortunately, only in 2024 did the Baroque Academy of Rome receive all the scores for rebinding and printing. However, out of respect and precision, we must cite the sources from which Santino Cara copied the manuscripts for the reconstructions. Special thanks to the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice and the Antonio Vivaldi Italian Institute, as well as the National University Library of Turin, the National Library of Bologna, the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice, the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples, the University Library of the Land of Saxony in Dresden, Germany, and the Music Library of the German Historical Institute in Rome. This book of scores of Vivaldi's concertos and symphonies, as well as the other three, are the result of 30 years of research, work and reconstructions from old manuscripts.

We remind you that in this book, in addition to the complete scores, there are also all the separate instrumental parts, all in pdf ready for printing.
