In my elementary music classroom, I used "Frére Jacques" not only as an opportunity to introduce singing a round in English and French, but also to appeal to the student body, 98% of whom were hispanic so I added a Spanish verse. I also added a verse with solfege included. With three languages and solfege, there are multiple pedogogical uses for this arrangement. And for the music teacher with a little piano playing ability, I've included a simple piano accompaniment as well! You can use this arrangement as you see fit in your classroom; teach the round using one or all three languages, use with or without the piano accompaniment. Whichever choice fits your classroom the best. Keeping in mind this will be used in a classroom with 20 students, give or take, I've priced it accordingly. You are welcome to make copies as needed, as long as it is limited to students you teach in your classroom, from your school.
