Robinson III, the all-time, R & B classic ballad originally sung and recorded by the late, Roberta Flack, "Killing Me Softly" with a beautiful, truly, angelic, velvety voice lives forever. School string orchestra students along with piano/keyboard and percussion accompaniment will bring that magic to its audiences. The music is very much arranged like the recording where students can follow the rythms and melodic lines (not in the same kay of the recording) just to capture the style, rhythms, and texture. The song itself tells a love story. When he took his youth orchestra to Ghana, West Africa for the first tiem in 2001, the audiences liked this song so much that they wanted to hear it again as an encore.
