In 2022, I was assigned to set these public domain lyrics to music that only used the major pentatonic scale. I got a bit too into my composition and realized that I could make an alternate version using the normal Ionic scale if I wanted to, so I did, and thus became the Balloonist's Prayer. The lyrics are as follows:

"May the winds welcome you with softness.
May the sun bless you with its warm hands.
May you fly so high and so well
that God joins you in laughter
And sets you gently back
into the loving arms of Mother Earth."
