This concert was reconstructed in Rome in 2019 by Santino Cara commissioned by the Roman Baroque Academy. The reconstruction was based on the manuscript dated 1778 kept at the Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria of Turin in Italy.
We have included the dynamics, some parts of the continuo missing from the manuscript, and the realization of the harpsichord. In the second movement, Vivaldi has the two solo violins play accompanied by the two violins ripieni and the violas. We have also included a free and personal interpretation of the harpsichord. The first printed edition of this concerto dates back to 2019, this is the second, revised and more accurate.
