This short, cinematic, spooky piece evokes a frantic flight from the supernatural, mimicking the rhythm of horses' hooves in the left hand. It is written in D harmonic minor.
The piece can be played on a harp as small as 26-strings, provided it has levers. It should work on a Harp-E, Dusty Strings Ravenna 26, any of the Marini-Made lap harp line, Musicmakers Sonnet 29, or a number of Roosebeck Pakistani models, as well as on a Harpsicle Fullsicle, like the model I am playing in the video.
There are no lever changes in the middle of the piece, and while, one or two fingerings may prove challenging for newer harpists, especially at full speed, most of the piece is extremely straightforward.
