Product Description

A slight revision to the big band arrangement of Sy Oliver's Opus One to simplify various parts of it for the sake of our jazz band. Section chords were altered here and there to bring the chords out of the rafters, keys were altered from sharps to flats, clarinet parts were moved into saxes and trumpets, and those crazy 16th note measures were excised entirely because no one can play that. Essentially, this arrangement is more playable than the original by the casual, one-a-week band.
