The first fragments of a tune for 3/4 in the Morning were dreamed up one night when I couldnt sleep. I was suffering from insomnia for the best of reasons. I discovered that I was in love. I wrote it for and dedicate it to my partner of 15 years, John Yoakam (1947- 2009). Yes, he did get to hear it.

This little waltz sits in the hands pretty well and its fun to play. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
