Product Description
"The Trumpet Shall Sound", in this arrangement, is the 'Recitative' and Bass 'Aria' from "The Messiah" composed by G.F. Händel. It is recommended that at least the Harpsichord and Organ (and the violin, if possible) be part of the ensemble as this will sound close to and orchestra. The second, sadly, part may be omitted...traditionally.
Professional arrangements of this Aria, it would seem, is not much requested (or available) as sheet music.
This song was commissioned by a South African Baritone Soloist, Johann Nefdt, to be performed by a Baritone Soloist, Violin, Trumpet, Harpsichord & Pipe-Organ (a Piano part, included, is most welcome to join the ensemble as it's overtones will fill out the score).
This sale includes two Score & Parts sets, in DMaj & Cmaj. Enjoy!
This arrangement was produced using Dorico 5..1 & NotePerformer 4.5
