This piece is written as a wedding introit for SATB choir. The text is drawn from the Catholic nuptial blessing - Deus Israel Conjungat Vos, May the God of Israel bind you together. The work can be performed either accapella or with organ accompaniment and works well as part of a traditional Missa Cantata. Comprising of four main parts, the piece was written such that the initial part could be used for the groom and clergy procession, the second for the bride's procession followed by the doxology and Amen.

The recording was taken from a rehearsal for my own wedding (for which the piece was originally written) and features Coro Alto, a wonderful choir from Portugal.

The piece is an intermediate difficulty with some difficult intervals, counterpoint and some moments in the higher register (High A) for soprano.
