Product Description

"Little Altar Boy" ("Little Holy Child") is a song that was made famous by Andy Williams in his 1965 "Merry Christmas" album. The story is about a man who goes to church and asks the holy and innocent altar boy to pray for him. In this String Trio arrangement, the melancholy melody is given totally to the cello in its bass/tenor range. The violin actually plays an upper-register obbligato part. This is the perfect Christmas Song in which to showcase your cellist.
