Product Description

A Time for Us is an iconic piece to add to your repertoire that sounds so fitting on the harp! This arrangement is very elegant and satisfying to play. In this piece, youll get practice with arpeggios, jumping between registers in the left hand, some quick lever changes, and glissandos. If you learn along with the Video Course, Carrie will give plenty of reminders to reinforce your hand position and help you master those lever changes so they feel very smooth and controlled rather than frantic. Shell also show you how to bring this arrangement to life through dynamics and playing with expression!

Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Mid-Intermediate.  The right hand plays the melody line with quick placing and some interesting rhythms. The left hand has the accompaniment with many 10th intervals, ascending 4-2-1 shapes, and jumping between registers. There are multiple lever changes and glissandos throughout.

Type of Harp: 33 strings and larger.

Range: The lowest note is D almost two octaves below middle C, and the highest note is G two and a half octaves above middle C.

Levers/Pedals: In the key of G major (F levers set to F sharp). Many F lever changes throughout.
