Product Description
This arrangement is designed with a beginning Ukulele player in mind. It is in C Major and
features only 4 chords: I, V, vi, IV (C, G Amin, F). These chords are played one chord per measure and repeated until m. 38. The ukulele is tacet from m38-45 and returns at measure 46, playing as before.
The strum patternmay be ad libbed by the player and varied as desired.
There are a several short solos throughout, which may be consolidated, divided, or sung by the entire section according to the needs of the ensemble.
Placing this arrangement in C Major is done for the ease of the ukulele but does give the song a low tessitura for developing treble voices. A few suggested adaptations to the melody have been indicated in the score. Feel free to make additional adaptations if necessary.
