This brass quintet arrangement of Ennio Morricone's beautiful piece "Gabriel's Oboe" from the movie The Mission is perfect for recitals, weddings, educational outreach, holiday events, and funerals. It features a solo Eb trumpet from within the quintet as a substitute for a solo oboe. I have included alternate Bb solo trumpet and alternate C solo trumpet parts if those instruments are preferred. The piece can be performed by advanced high school quintets through college and professional ensembles.
