Product Description

Tatsurō Yamashita ( , born February 4, 1953) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and record producer, who is known for pioneering the 'city pop' style of music; he is considered a major contributor to Japanese music and is ranked by HMV Japan at number 6 in the top 100 Japanese artists. 'Mirai no Theme' (along with companion song 'Uta no Kisha') is the 51st single released by Yamashita, in July 2018, written for the animated film "Mirai". The uptempo song opens the film in a bright shuffle swing style, and there are a couple of moments for your star alto sax player to really let go (the first solo is based on one recorded by Yota Miyazato) - treat your audience to something different and they'll be tapping their toes by the end, it's very catchy!
