Product Description

This song may or may not have originated with a Texas polka band in the early '60s. It's also described as "traditional." Its original name was "La Cachuata," which means "peanut" in the ancient Mexican Nahuatl language. But it's a fun polka, with a little bit of a mariachi feel, that has been endlessly recorded, mostly by bands that include at least one accordion. Hey, Myron Floren of the Lawrence Welk band included it on multiple solo accordion LPs. Must be special. This arrangement is for two trumpets, horn, baritone TC and tuba.
