Product Description

Aint No Sunshine (1971) by Bill Withers was inspired by the 1962 movie Days of Wine and Roses and the strengths and weaknesses of the two lead alcoholic characters.  It is a (deceptively) simple, yet incredibly moving ballad about addictive love.  Originally clocking in at 126 seconds, with 26 I knows, composed with 4 simple chords - this candidate into the Great American Songbook was created. And in 2024 it was added to the National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being: culturally, historically and/or aesthetically significant.  This arrangement is for a 4-part SATB ensemble and pianist.  It features the Tenor (and bass), but requires the ensemble of 5 performers to paint this picture of dependence. Performance time: 4:14+-

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
