Product Description

"Jesus Christ is risen today" is a hymn widely sung on Easter Day. This arrangement provides short organ interludes between verses, to help in extending the hymn if sung in procession. The harmony for verse 1 is the traditional altered form from "Lyra Davidica" (1708). In verse 2 the first part of each line is taken from the original version in "Lyra Davidica". The interludes and the harmonisation of the third verse are mine.
