Product Description

Sousa wrote this in 1893 as part of an operetta on commission. But he and the customer couldn't agree on a price -- Sousa wanted $1,500, and the customer wouldn't go higher than $1,000 -- so Sousa walked. A march from the operetta became "The Liberty Bell." It's probably best known now as the theme song from "Monty Python's Flying Circus," pressed on the British comedy group by its only American member for reasons that are too arcane to go into or even understand.
It's arranged for two trumpets, horn, baritone TC and tuba.
